I’m back today with another 5-minute card made with the Flowers For Every Season Memories & More Card Pack. When I need a quick card that looks gorgeous, the Memories & More Card Packs have become my go-to staple item. I used to basically dismiss these card packs. I’d get them included with the product suites that I ordered, but they went in a drawer with barely a glance. However, I was cleaning out that drawer not too long ago and took a better look at what was in them. That’s when I really discovered the beauty of these fantastic cards. There are two sizes included with each card pack, 4 x 6″ and 3″ x 4″, all double-sided, some with sentiments pre-printed and others just beautiful designs. Most have several sheets of matching cardstock stickers included also. As with all Stampin’ Up products, they coordinate perfectly with Stampin’ Up cardstock, inks, markers, etc.
With the busy schedule we’ve been keeping in recent days, I wanted a quick project to share today, and again reached for Memories & More!
LET’S GET INKY!
Colors & Measurements:
Basic Black for card base – 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ Score at 4 1/4″ and fold in half.
Memories & More Card (pink roses) trimmed down to 4″ x 5 1/4″. Save that 3/4″ piece trimmed to use on the inside of the card.
Whisper White 4″ x 2″ (front) and 5″ x 3 3/4″ (inside)
Magenta Madness 4″ x 2 1/4″ (front) and 5 1/4″ x 4″ (inside mat)
Directions:
- Stack the 4″ x 2″ white and 4″ x 2 1/4″ Magenta Madness, bottom edges even, and run through Cut & Emboss machine using the edge die from Magnolia Memory Dies. It cuts through both layers without any difficulty and this way you know they will line up evenly since we’re not using the full 6″ width.
- Cut the white layer only at 1 1/4″ from the top edge.
- Stamp the sentiment (I used “Always…” from Field of Flowers stamp set) in Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
- Adhere the white bottom die-cut edge to the Magenta Madness piece, leaving a border of pink showing.
- Leave a small gap and adhere remaining rectangular white piece to the top of the Magenta Madness die-cut piece.
- The small white flower to the left of the sentiment and the Magenta Madness bow are both cardstock stickers from the Memories & More Card Pack.
- Adhere the sentiment stack to the printed Memories and More panel and adhere to card base front.
- For the inside of the card, stamp your sentiment on the Whisper White panel, adorn with that 3/4″ strip that you saved from the Memories & More card on the front, adhere to the Magenta Madness mat and adhere the stack to the inside card base.
- Done!!!!
If you don’t have a lot of time for stamping, these cards make it sooo EASY!
